All major automotive coatings are being cleaned using General Chemicals container cleaning chemicals, IBC tote cleaning chemicals & Tank cleaning chemicals “Aqualean” and “Midas Strip” on a daily basis. Products in the Midas Strip line are non-flammable proven alternatives to the flammable, low flash solvents traditionally used to clean paint plant floors and equipment.

Aqualean 2810: A super concentrated, aqueous paint and resin remover is designed to be used at dilutions of 2.5 to 15% in water at temperatures of 140 to 180° F. by either soak or spray application. It removes the most difficult to strip paint and resins. |

Aqualean 7950: A general-purpose aqueous paint and resin remover used at dilutions of 15% to 50% with temperatures of 140 to 180°F., by either soak or spray application. Does not foam when sprayed at pressures in excess of 5000 psi. Removes most paints and resins, including isocynates and e-coat. |

Midas-Strip 3089: A solvent based thixotropic paint, resin and label remover clings to vertical surfaces. Removes both water and solvent-based paints and resins, as well as paper and plastic labels. Very low VOC content. Removed with aqueous cleaners. |

Gen-Kleen 6560: A heavy-duty alkaline cleaner for use in the transportation and container cleaning industries. It is formulated to separate oil and water, facilitating wastewater treatment. It removes oil, grease, road film, diesel soot from trucks, tank wagons, railroad cars, totes and steel and plastic drums. It does not attack aluminum, steel, painted surfaces, decals, or glass. |
